Security Officer

LOCATION:  Layton Hills Mall, Livonia, MI

DESCRIPTION:  Observe and report safety/security incidents patrolling on foot and in vehicles. 

• Provide superior customer service to the General Manager, supporting mall programs.
• Calmly project confidence to others and successfully interact with the general public.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in security, law enforcement, or the military preferred, but will train.

REPORTS TO:  Security Director

STATUS:  Temporary/Seasonal, 1st & 2nd shift, non-exempt position.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid driver’s license and successful completion of background and driving record check. 
• Availability to work a rotating schedule that involves some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
